My son used to be super easy to buy for at Christmas! He wanted every new toy or gadget he saw, especially if it had wheels! Now that he’s gotten a little older it’s not quite as easy! The only thing on his gift list these days seems to be video games! There are only so many of those I want him to have!
I’ve been browsing BestBuy.com, and I’ve found some things on his list, and some things I’d like to add to his list because I’m sure he’d enjoy them! I’ve found several gift ideas for him under $100 each so far! I think most of these would be popular with any teenage boy.
- iHome Portable Speakers– He recently took over my iPod touch when I got a new smart phone, so I’d love to get him a new speaker he can use up in his room. I just got a new speaker for myself, but I don’t always want to share. Since it’s portable could take this speaker along with him when we’re traveling, that’s a big plus!
- My son’s been working on his guitar skills with my husband. He has a smaller guitar, and an electric guitar, but he needs a new acoustic guitar, so I’m eying the Maestro by Gibson Guitar at Best Buy.
- I’ve been thinking about getting my son his own camera. He enjoys taking photos with mine, but I use it so much I always worry about him dropping or breaking it. I used to have a Canon PowerShot for my pocket, and it was a wonderful camera, so I think my son would enjoy the Canon – PowerShot A2300.
- I think his favorite would be these Skullcandy HESH Black Headphones. Can you see a theme in most of these gift ideas? My son loves music, and I think he’ll love these headphones! They sound like they’ll feature great audio.

My son doesn’t have a tablet yet, but they’re on his list! It’s definitely something else I’m considering. It’s good to know you can buy any 3 tablet accessories and save at Best Buy (up to $75, save $10; up to $100 save $15; up to $150, save $30). No coupon necessary!
The best part is Best Buy is so convenient! You can order online and have it delivered to your home, go a local Best Buy store, or order online and pick up your gifts at your local store. Best Buy is also offering Free Shipping on all products on BestBuy.com through December 27th. But if you want it to arrive by Christmas their shipping deadline for holiday arrivals is December 19th.
If you’ve waited until the last minute, don’t worry! You can order through BestBuy.com and pick up in store until 3PM on Christmas Eve- perfect for last-minute shoppers. I need to let my husband know that! He’s a Christmas Eve shopper!
If your gift doesn’t work out Best Buy also has a really convenient extended return and exchange policy, so you can work it all out after the holidays.
