We are doing 25 days of Elf On The Shelf between now and Christmas! Today’s installment is running a little behind! You can view all of the days as I post them here: 25 Days of Elf on the Shelf
During our trip to Cancun a few weeks ago, we had the chance to visit a Japanese restaurant, of course Elf on The Shelf wanted to tag along. Everything went great when we arrived at the restaurant and picked out our seats. Elf was intrigued by the dipping sauces.
When the Japanese chef came out and started to toss his knives around Elf on the Shelf got a little nervous!
When the flames started shooting up, he disappeared completely for a little while! I take it his elf suit must be flammable and he wasn’t taking any chances!
Of course he reappeared in time to eat! He even gave the chop sticks a try!
He loved dessert! He had some kind of ice cream with chocolate sauce. Not sure how Japanese that is?
He actually had two desserts! I’m not sure where he puts it all! His second dessert had bananas, ice cream, whipped cream and a custard pastry.
We all had a good time, and the Elf on the Shelf made it through without any burn holes! We might have to try it again sometime. The Japanese chef really seemed to like him, so I think he made a new friend! Stay tuned for more Elf on the Shelf every day between now and Christmas.
