This time of the year is a great time of the year to get caught up on all your scrapbook projects. What better to scrapbook during those cold winter months than photos of your kids having fun in the snow! Especially if you’re curled up and warm with a cup of hot chocolate while you’re sorting through your photos!
Today I want to share some fun ideas for winter scrapbook layouts with you. I just have general ideas for most of the pages for color schemes. Sometimes people ask us specifics for where we get our materials from, but I pick them up here and there whenever I’m out and some of them I even order online when I find something I can’t live without. You can get materials for your winter scrapbook page projects from many places including RubberStamps.com.
We use a variety of materials to create our scrapbook pages from stickers, to ribbon, card stock, buttons, and rubber stamps all work well to create that unique look for scrapbook pages with styles as unique as the people in the photographs!
Here are a few winter scrapbook layouts my sister recently did. For winter many times you think of white with shades of blue. Snowflakes are always fun to help set the winter scene.
Sometimes you have to get some other cool colors in your winter scrapbook color pallet to make it pop. I love this purple and green winter scrapbook page. It’s one of my favorites! The colors really pop, and it still says winter to me.
Use rubber stamps or cutouts to create shapes to add to your winter scrapbook pages, like snowflakes, winter boots, mittens, or even snowmen. The additions can help create a theme on the page.
I hope some of these winter scrapbook pages have helped to inspire you to get scrappin’ and create your own!
