I went to a scrapbook retreat this weekend and came home with some fun ideas for scrapbook pages. I love going to scrapbook weekend retreats, they’re always great to get my creative juices flowing. Even after I’m home I come up with new crafting and creating ideas for several days after. While I’m there I always see so many great ideas for scrapbook pages!
I try to write them all down, or even take a photo if the person doesn’t mind, so I can remember the page for later. My sister always says she’s not crafty, but she comes up with some of the coolest scrapbook pages evaar! One of my recent favorites are these pirate scrapbook pages she made this weekend.
My nephew loves pirates, so she decided to create a couple pages to capture that part of his personality. She used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge to make the little pirates, the ship, and the skull and crossbones.
She used some pirate-y background papers she found at a local scrapbook store. Here’s a closeup of each of the pages.

Way too cute, right? This could be a fun scrapbook page idea for any kid who likes pirates, has a pirate birthday party, or loves the new Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
I love the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge, but I think my new favorite is the Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut Cartridge my sister used to create the pirates on this page. I made a ton of fun things with this cartridge, including mermaids, princesses, wizards, fairies, and the accessories to go with them, so I’ll be back with more scrapbook ideas, and ideas for using the Dress Up Cartridge over the next few days!
