The first time I saw someone creating scrapbook pages using the Cricut Cartridge, Everyday Paper Dolls
I knew I had to have it. I was at a weekend scrapbook retreat last spring with my sister. The lady next to me had the most adorable photo of her son standing proud next to a snowman he built. On the same page she had created a paper doll look alike of her child, with the same color snowsuit and hat as the photo, totally cute!
I only have a few cartridges, because I usually use the Cricut software to create my own cutouts, but I knew I had to have that cartridge! I finally found it for a great price last summer, but didn’t get to test it out until the next scrapbook retreat last fall. Now it’s January and I’m just now posting some of the picks and sharing it here. Sometimes things just don’t move too fast in my world!
My sister used the cartridge to recreate her son and his friends in their football uniforms after their team won the local championship.
Here’s a closeup of a couple of the football players. Aren’t they adorable?
I also made this little guy to go with my son’s tractor page.
Here’s the page, but shhhhh! Don’t tell my father in law I have John Deere and Oliver tractors on the same page!
The Paper Dolls Cartridge makes more than adorable paper dolls, it also made the goal posts on the football page above, and the tractor on this page.
And the cute little cars on this one!
I’ve been thinking of tons of projects I can use this cartridge for. It would be fun to use to make cards, invitations, and for crafting along with tons more scrapbook ideas.
I’m sure I’ll be back with more ideas and layouts.
I got my cartridge from Amazon here: Cricut Cartridge, Everyday Paper Dolls
