Frozen fever is still going strong even after the movie has been out for over a year! My nieces and nephews still love the Frozen movie and all of the characters! I decided to bake them up a special treat this weekend in honor of winter! I made some easy DIY fun Frozen cupcakes with some small Frozen Elsa, Anna and Olaf action figures as toppers, and icing dresses for Anna and Elsa.
The Frozen Elsa, Anna and Olaf cupcakes turned out super cute so I thought I’d share with you how I made them! I also teamed up with some other great bloggers to bring you more great Frozen treat ideas if you scroll on down on this post.
Easy DIY Fun Frozen Cupcakes Idea

Your favorite cupcakes
Frozen Little Kingdom Characters
Your favorite decorator icing
blue sugar sprinkles
Wilton White Cake Sparkles
Wilton Star Tip
Decorator bag
Turquoise food color
Royal blue food color
Blue cupcake wrappers
Instructions:
1. I purchased the Anna, Elsa and Olaf Frozen Little Kingdom Characters for my cupcakes but you could use any small Frozen action figures.
The bottom of the dolls’ skirts snap off so you can interchange them so I removed them then used the cupcake icing as the bottoms of their dresses. When you’re done using the dolls in the Frozen cupcakes you can rinse them off and snap the skirts back on for the kids to play!
I used one container of icing since I was only decorating a few cupcakes for my nieces and nephews, but you can make your own butter cream icing if you’re making quite a few cupcakes, like for a Frozen birthday party. I colored 1/3 of the icing with royal blue food color, 1/3 of the icing with turquoise food color, and left 1/3 of the icing white.
I used the large Wilton star tip to swirl icing from the outside of the cupcakes around and around into the center of the cupcakes to form the dresses for Elsa and Anna and to form Olaf’s snow mound.
I placed each cupcake into a a second cupcake wrapper to add to the fullness. Then I inserted a small action figure firmly into the center of each cupcake and decorated with snowflake and blue sugar sprinkles.
And that’s it for my Frozen cupcakes idea! I told you these were super simple! They were also a big hit with my nieces and nephews!
