Raise your hand if you’re as excited about the new Beauty and the Beast movie coming out as I am? I can’t wait to see this version! To celebrate the occasion I made these fun belle cupcakes. These Beauty and the Beast cupcakes are perfect for a Beauty and the Beast party, or just for fun with the kids before or after you go see the movie.

How to Make Belle Cupcakes

I used my favorite vanilla cupcake recipe to make these Belle cupcakes. You can use any flavor of cupcakes you’d like. I also used a basic vanilla butter cream icing, but you can use any decorator icing you want.

Use a Wilton 1M tip and pastry bag to pipe Belle’s icing dress onto the cupcake. Color the icing with yellow icing color, and add it to the pastry bag. Swirl the icing around and around from the outside to the center of the cupcake using the 1M tip.

Top the cupcakes with a Disney Princess Little Kingdom Belle doll. Here she is out of the box. So stinking cute!

Her bottom skirt is easily removable, so remove that before adding her to the cupcake. If you’re using these cupcakes for a party you can purchase one Belle doll for each child. Use real mini roses to top the rest of your Beauty and the Beast cupcakes. If you don’t want to use real roses you can use these red candy roses by Wilton. When you’re done with the cupcakes add the bottom skirt back to the doll and let the kids take them home for party souvenir.

I inserted the doll feet first into the icing up to the edge of her dress. Perfect!

Double wrap the cupcakes with dark rose and yellow polka dot cupcake wraps to make the Belle cupcakes extra fun! I found the cupcake wraps at JoAnn’s but you can probably find them at any craft store.
