We love to head out to the beach when we go on vacation! Tropical destinations are our favorite, especially during the cold winter months. Puerto Rico is a popular vacation destination, and the best part is you don’t even need a passport to to travel there from the US. All you need is your swimsuit, a few pairs of shorts, and your golf clubs to Live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico.  Just hop on a plane and go without any extra fuss.

Whether you’re a golf fan, a gourmet foodie, love to explore, or just hang out on the beach, I’m finding out Puerto Rico is a 5-star vacation destination filled with fabulous world-class attractions.

Puerto Rico Tourism and Trip Advisor recently formed a partnership to transform real traveler 5-star reviews into short films narrated by Puerto Rican stars. I’ve been browsing through the videos, and I have to say I’m ready to plan my own 5 star vacation to Puerto Rico this winter! Check out this golfing destination:

I know my husband would love to add a golf stop to our itinerary. I’m all about the beaches, and Puerto Rico has 270 miles of coastline, and it’s featured as one of the Top 10 beaches on the Travel Channel! It also boasts Flamenco Beach in Culebra, which many call one of the best beaches in the world.

I would definitely want to do a little exploring, so I’m adding Camuy caverns, to my “Must Do” itinerary for a trip to Puerto Rico. I think I’ll also add the El Yunque rainforest to my list, and climb to the clouds. Or maybe I can glow like an angel in the water in the Bioluminescent bays. Maybe we’ll just go horse back riding or explore the magnificent Camuy caverns, it’s the 3rd largest subterranean river in the world. Wow so many choices and things to do!

My husband is a bit history buff so I’m sure he’ll  enjoy old world charm of San Juan, while we’re there I can do a little shopping!. He can try a little Puerto Rican Rum and I’ll check out the local cuisine.
