Are you a positive role model for others in your life? I try to be a positive role model for my son and other’s in my life. I try to prepare for a positive future, and I also like to give back to others whenever possible. New York Life has the Keep Good Going Program to help you inspire others. I like to pass on my positive attitude to my son. He is in high school now and working on planning his future. I always instill in him to treat others kindly. Some kids have a very difficult home life for one reason or another. I always try to instill in him to treat others with kindness even if they’re doing things that annoy him, or may not always be nice. A couple of my favorite mottos are to kill them with kindness and to always treat others as you would want to be treated. I’m hoping he takes some of those life lessons into the future with him.

I’m also trying to make him understand he has to start working toward his future now. He knows he wants to do something in the electronics field, and he would love to play baseball in college. I’ve been helping him do little things every day to make his dreams a reality. A little hard work now can pay off big time in the future. I’m working to help mentor him to have a great future. I would love to see him follow his passions to greatness. It feels wonderful to help him achieve his milestones along the way.
