We were excited to have the opportunity to check out Nugget over the last couple weeks. He’s one of the cool new Interactive Storybuddies from Hallmark. There are several, including Nugget, Jingle, Bells two husky puppies, Scooby Doo, Bigsby, Abigail the Bunny and Christopher the Sleepyhead Bear. They’re all super cute, at least in my opinion! Storybuddies each come with their own storybook to share with kids. They bring story time to life with the newest Interactive Storybooks and the plush Story Buddies themselves.
The Interactive Storybuddy products are designed to help kids and their families embrace the best part of the holiday season by spending time together and and creating lasting memories with loved ones.
My nieces were only too happy to test them out for me. They fell in love as soon as they they saw Nugget. Then it was story time. When you read Nugget’s book Nugget interacts with you when you read certain lines in the book. My niece is in the 2nd grade this year, and as she read along she got Nugget to bark, giggle and talk to her interacting with the story.
Nugget and the other Storybuddies come with a book, an interactive CD, and can also be played with Nugget’s First Day of School app, and online at Hallmark.com/Nugget. He has over 40 responses ready to share with kids!
Nugget is an energetic puppy who is learning how to be more independent. Kids get to join him on his first day at Doggy School where he learns all kinds of really cool stuff. He’s up for fun and he wants kids to join in and have fun with him!
If you just want to cuddle with Nugget and don’t want to interact, there’s an on and off switch you can flip so Nugget is just huggable. My nieces definitely thought he was huggable, and I thought he was pretty huggable myself
I’m sure Nugget and his other Interactive Storybuddies will be topping many kids wish lists this year. You can find Nugget and all the other Storybuddies at Hallmark stores this Christmas, and you can find more information online at Hallmark.com.
I received a Nugget Interactive Storybuddy from Hallmark to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
