Baseball Photo Wall Collage With Artistic Letters

by Linette

I recently discovered Artistic Letters, and I’ve been having a blast making and creating with them! One of my favorite creations so far is this baseball photo collage. My son just got his baseball photos for this year, and I always like to display them. At the same time I had the opportunity to take a set of the Artistic Letters, and some of their cool backgrounds for a test drive. Here’s what I came up with.

Here’s what I used:

  • The Artistic Letters, Grungy Bricks Matte, and Baseball Matte from Artistic Letters
  • Color Printer
  • 3 pieces of 8 1/2 by 11 card stock
  • Scraps of black card stock
  • 8×10 photo frame
  • baseball photo
  • straight edge cutter (or scissors)
  • double sided tape

I started by printing out the letters in “baseball.” I used the Combine feature in Photoscape photo editing software (free to download at photoscape.org) to combine the letters.

I love the different shapes and textures of the letters, here’s a closeup shot:

I printed the Baseball Matte and cut it to fit about 4×6 inches, then mounted it on black card stock, and added the photo with double sided tape.

Then I mounted the letters on black card stock.

I cut the Bricks Matte to fit the 8 x10 frame. I used the bricks pattern to match the background in the baseball photo. Then I added the photos and the lettering and put it all in the frame.

I love how it turned out. It’s perfect for displaying my son’s baseball photo. I have more ideas for using the Artistic Letters, so stay tuned!

There are soooo many uses for these letters! They’re wonderful for creating wall collages, photos, birthday party decorations, scrapbooking and so much more.

Disclaimer: Artistic Letters provided me with a  set of their letters and matte backgrounds free of charge to use to create the collage and other projects.
